This past spring and summer, I got the chance to report for the political news website pa2010.com, a political news website covering this year's elections. I learned a lot under Dan Hirschhorn, who's now at Politico, about the nature of political coverage and the pace of online journalism.
I was responsible for stories covering Pennsylvania's 4th and 17th congressional districts, and was featured on the Washington Post Blog Network as well as Talking Points Memo. The main objective of the site was and has been to provide up-to-the-minute news and coverage of the relevant districts, and breaking as much exclusive news as possible.
