The Pitt News
The Pitt News is the daily student newspaper of the University of Pittsburgh, with a circulation of 13,000, a staff of 14 editors and 100 writers, photographers and designers. The newspaper covers campus events, along with issues of interest to college students in Pittsburgh.
Since September 2008 at The Pitt News, I've covered everything from riots and elections to video games and players going to the NFL draft.
For the year I served as news editor, I managed a rolling staff of 20 writers producing multiple stories per week, in addition to covering breaking news both through our website and print edition. Before that I was an assistant news editor, and before that the University administration beat reporter.
